Creative weekend

Hello journal,
Well the kids stayed at their Grandparents last night, so Andrew and I took the opportunity to go out to dinner and catch a movie. It was a great night :) I also made 2 very cute owls for the Grace & Jess to play with. Ollie wants one now.

Kath and I have been busy (pumping out LO's) on our usual Friday night. It is so much fun scrapping with someone who loves scrapbooking as much as you.

I am thinking of putting this LO into the Kraft It Up Monthly challenge; which is a Monochromatic LO using 95% of that colour in different hues...not as easy as it sounds :)I finished it last night, take a look. Totally out of my comfort zone.

I have had this week off work and it has been great. It's been very relaxing. I've been reading, scraping and cooking. Oliver helped me make cupcakes for his Kindy Easter morning tea.




I did these layouts yesterday;which I scraplifted from the very talented Wendy Smith (my-head-space.blogspot.com). Kath and I scrap every Friday at my house. It was a all day er :)9.30 - 4.00 I love scrapping.

Recent LO's

I have been happily scrapbooking by myself lately and have have managed to do 3 LO's; yah!!! Everything at the Head household is good and running smoothly. I have been working four days a week which is working out well for me as I have a day to myself to scrap. Take a look.

Alone Time

It has been awhile since I have scrapped; so yesterday arvo I found this photo of Ollie and the kit from qteakits and started to create.
Everything seemed to come together and I love the collage effect. I also did the LO in 8.5 x 11 for something different; I like it.

Last night I finished another LO; this one is of Ollie's first haircut. The LO is from Kim Archers website- Quick & Easy LO's. I love it.

Latest LO's for this week

Well a very productive week for LO's. Since leaving my job in dental I feel as if a cloud has been lifted and I have my MOJO back!!!!!!

My 1st LO is of Ollie "Look @ those Cheeks".

2nd LO was our Sketch challenge from Sarah. Last Saturday night was unreal, Sarah,Tanya & Me challenged ourselves with the same photo and sketch.It basically took us all night but the results were excellent!!!!

A Day at the Beach.

It was so humid and stinking hot today that we went to the beach, I just had to be near the water and sea breeze. I didn't adventure my whole body into water only my feet......the water was freezing. The girls on the other hand never miss an oppurtunity to jump in. Ollie stayed close to the shore, hes not silly!!!! I took my camera of course and managed to take some excellent shots of the girls buried up to their necks in sand.

Ollie

Ollie is our youngest and he basically has us all wrapped around his little finger. Whatever he says we all seem to jump at the same time to see what he wants. He is extremely adventuous and is often caught doing something he shouldn't. The most valued asset is his squeezy cheeks.

1. Loves Bob the Builder and Dora the Explorer.
2. Loves trucks, cars and tractors.
3. Always wants to be nappy or underpants free.
4. Is slowly being toilet trained.
5. Very cheeky...but adorable.
6. Adores his Sissy's.
7. Hates his teeth being brushed.
8. Loves anyone (not choosy) to read him a book.
9. He has a bit of a sweet tooth-loves icecreams and chocolate.
10. We all love a bubby bear so much.
    

Jessica (Wessy Woo)

Our Beautiful Jessica, so sweet. Thoughtful and caring. Very affectionate and loving. Jessica loves life and her enthusium is contagious. Wessy is a bit of a worrier but we working together to help her let things go.

1. Excellent runner (So Fast)!!!
2. Loves her brother so so much.
3. Can make her own breakfast and can make a sandwich too.
4. A bit of a collector of treasures and bits and pieces.
5. Loves to wear anything Red.
6. Littlest Pets, Beanie Bears and Bratz are what she likes to play with.
7. Very artistic; loves to draw and make things ( especially books and cards for me).
8. Often speaks using herself as the third person....very cute!!!!
9. Got to keep moving...may miss out on something.
10. Sleeps with her light on.
11. Is an super saver.
12. Wants to eventually do the splits; she practices everyday.
13. Never wants to leave home- which is fine with me!!!
14. Is willing to try any kind of food.

Grace

Gentle and a kind hearted soul. Has only in this year discovered how to not let people walk all over her. She loves to make people happy and laugh. She's very cuddly and loving. She can hear a conversation from another room and be next to you in a single bound.......saying"What did you say Mummy?" ( super hero hearing)!!!!! Beautiful smile, adorable.

2. Does not miss a show of the Simpsons- even though I dislike the show.
3. In fact she would watch anything on TV.
4. Plays beanie bears with her sister.
5. Super Dooper Violin player.
6. Sang "Because of You"- by her self; in front of the school for Oxenford Idol.

8. Favourite movie "A Series of Unfortunate Events".
9. Chocoholic!!!!
10. Phobia of having a clean room-instant headache when asked to clean!!!!!

This is my recent LO of Grace; in the Oxenford Idol contest at School. OMG was she brave,confident and down right unreal........she does not get any of that from me!!!!!!

Hey there, well Ive been out of action for a week or so with the flu ( because I stupidly agreed to do some extra days at work- to help out....never again!!!!).

Any way have managed to finish my ATC's for the month of August....TaDa!!!!

Today we went to Dreamworld-perfect day. Here is a pic of Ollie with Dora, absolutely hilarious he kept staring at her, even when we were walking away-he is so CUTE!!!!!

Well this week my rubystreet collections arrived,I was so excited to open box- it felt like Christmas!!!

Well a bit of a busy week,Ollie was sick with the flu and I stayed home with him on Wednesday;little Cherub!!!! He was running a temp and generally unwell. When hubby came home that afternoon I needed a bit of no brainer time-so I scrapped. I didn't finish LO all in one sitting but I finished it tonight. Here is the masterpiece. Of course its of Ollie-Titled- " A Nudist and loving it".
The journalling is about the day 17/12/07 being so hot and wanting to wear nothing other than your birthday suit-oh to be child!!!!!
